" Ginger snaps"

Don't you love the little things at Christmas?
Do you love to see small surprises in every little corner...
I fell in love with these gingerbread boys
At our bingo game we played on Christmas Eve last year.

And our youngest daughter brought them, made sure that I got them.
Maybe it was the squeals I emmitted when I saw them.
Maybe it was the tears (cause I never did get to say Bingo!)

When everyone was tired of playing,
started breaking up to go home.

She brought them to me with a smile and a hug.
Merry Christmas, Mama, I love you
she whispered in my ear.
Love*
It wins every time.

  6. Those are THE cutest gingerbread boys I have EVER seen! EVER! Are they made out of traditional gingerbread dough? They look "fatter" somehow. Oh...you gotta do a tutorial on making them!!! xo Diana

  7. Oh sweet friends. these are made of that molded paper stuff..they're 3 dimentional.
I don't even know where she may have gotten them.
I could probably reproduce them in wood, but they would't be the same.
I can do pretty cute things out of wood, I've done things like this in the past.
She might have gotten them at the "Everythings a Dollar Store. I know she likes to shop there.
I do, too. But with all the xtra doctor bills,
there's no Christmas in our budget this year.
